Whenever I get down to write, I cannot start right away; it takes a long time before I can think of a decent topic to write about. Maybe I’m just not gifted at writing and shouldn’t even bother finishing this about me page. A self portrait would probably be more up my alley… oh wait – I did that for the about me icon! Well, on to reality!

I’m a native of Jakarta, Indonesia and I moved to the US after spending 5 hard years around fiendishly huge mosquitoes, rat-sized flying cockroaches, and fiery red ant minions(small wonder I hate insects). I asked my mom once why I was significantly shorter than my younger brother. She replied, ‘Because you kept getting sick in Indonesia and the doctor forced me to put you on hard, growth stunting medication for several years.’ (steroids, she tells me later!). Well, in any case, I might pay a visit back to my homeland… some time — after I am outfitted with a radiation proof space-suit with an internal water cooling system. Then again, mosquito proboscises are long!

In my humble opinion, my Mom and Dad are great artists. Yet, they consider themselves to be only half decent, and instead of having pursued their talent, they went off to study engineering. When they look at me, they marvel at my inherited, yet untrained talent, but always push it aside as they lecture about academics. Hey, I have no problem in any academic courses(Big lie eh? Well you wouldn’t know)… yet they still complain! I’ve one year until college, and though I will be studying computer science(perhaps biology as well), I plan to get good training for my artistic talents.

Oh my hobbies you ask? Anything that has to do with art, technology, biking, partying, and reading. The list continues… (Want more? Send me a 2 page eloquent essay about your hobbies and their relation to why I should be giving you any more information, then perhaps I will consider wether or not to spew out more personal facts at you).

OK, back to sleep and more dreaming and drawing!
