Shack is a senior at Lowell High School. He spends free time playing the baritone saxophone, reading, taking pictures, and watching old science-fiction TV series.
Shack has a well-earned reputation for the World’s Worst Puns, a title he holds with great pride. The English language is his plaything, and he’s like one of those kids that abuses his toys. He finds no subject off-limits to parody, and uses dry, black humor to survive in the face of Lowell’s culture of overwhelming studiousness and morality.
