As a registered Democrat, I believe it is time that I made my stance on what I
think of George Bush's administration. His administration is getting me
mad, because it does not seem that he is doing is job. I do not believe that he
should have been allowed to the office of president.
Bush seems to want help big business more then the American people. Look at
Enron, a big energy provider which is based in Texas, they guys got rich
off of Californians and they were big contributors to W's campaign. I
understand that he does not like California because we basically said, "Screw
You," in the last presidential election. At the same time, holding a grudge
does not help you because California is the sixth biggest economy in the
world and if it goes so does the rest of the nation.
If I wanted a Republican president, I would pick someone like Theodore
Roosevelt, who had the guts, ideas and many other things that really made a
difference. He was tough, as opposed to this sucker who supposedly was part of
the National Guard but did not show up half of the time. At least TR was
part of the Rough Riders and led a charge up San Juan Hill. I know he was a
warmonger, but better than W., him I would fight for, not Bush.
I am afraid that Bush might screw up this nation more then it is. Lets look at
the fact that the other president whose offspring became president also
served one term, John Adams and John Quincy Adams. I just want Bush to just sit
there and be a figurehead because I want to live in the country that
Clinton made better. I want Bush to destroy some of the monopolies because the
multinational conglomerates with tons of power do not really appeal to
me, but I know some of his money come from them. His tax cut does not work
because he is assuming that we will have a surplus in two years. I doubt it
because of the way he is leading this nation. Nor do I believe that a national
missile defense is necessary because of the declining threat of nations
like Russia and the violation of the Anti Ballistic Missile treaty. This is a
nation was founded on the ideals of being for the people by the people,
not a nation for the rich by the poor.
Mr. Bush, take some time to think about the nation you are creating for your
two daughters, no matter how old they are. Do we have a case of the
daughters following the father, because it seems both Jenna and Barbara are
making irrational decisions as well. Have a good four years in the Oval
Office, Mr. Bush, because those are the only ones you will have. Create a
nation where it was made better by you, not worse.
