“This is so easy,” he thought as he finished writing a letter.  He hoped Janice would enjoy this letter as she much as she must have enjoyed the first.  It would have given him so much joy just to see her expression when she opened it.

As long as things were going according to plan though, things were fine with him.  He was rather surprised that she hadn’t caught on yet; he had always seen her as rather clever.  Not that he wanted her to realize what was going on; he was just shocked at how simple things were going for him.

  “That should do it,” he thought.  He then sealed the envelope and walked off smiling wryly to himself.
