i feel the pain of the chollo cactus collision. when i was in joshua tree with my 8th grade class i was the first in my homeroom to brush up against one and those things hurt on the way out! but by the end abouthalf the people in our group had had an encounter with the prickly beasts including one girl who just stuck her hand in a cactus to “see how it felt” just thought i’d share
